Telepsychiatry
ALLIANT BEHAVIORAL CARE PLLC offers extensive telepsychiatry options to all our clients. Telepsychiatry is the psychiatric diagnosis and care delivery through video conferencing and other technological means. Our HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform promotes patient privacy, confidentiality, and autonomy.
The American Psychiatric Association considers telepsychiatry a “legitimate component of a mental health delivery system,” and so far, our previous clients have given positive feedback on the care continuity, ease, and convenience it provides.
Zoom Video Appointment Directions
- At your scheduled appointment time, we will send a Zoom video conference email request. If you are using a mobile device, you will have to download the Zoom Cloud Meeting APP before receiving the email.
- Open the email and click on the link indicated. When you click to connect, the email will download the free zoom Launchpad automatically.
- Click the green button that states “Join Audio Conference by Computer.” You should be all set by then (just be sure you have a stable internet connection and turn your volume and webcam on).
